Maxine Reyes is a well-rounded and dynamic individual wearing many proud hats including mother, military wife, veteran, philanthropist, author, and speaker.

Maxine is a decorated U.S. Army Captain (retired, December 2017) who started her career in the US Air Force. She has a Masters Degree in Management & Leadership, and various self-development certifications. Currently, she is the CEO of Sincerely Maxine Reyes, a fashion, lifestyle and empowerment brand; founder of “With Courage & Grace, Inc” (WC&G), a non-profit that supports girls’ confidence, education and resilience, women’s empowerment, and the military community. Maxine hosts empowerment and enrichment retreats and workshops for girls and women, and couples.

This soul-centered leader has inspired and entertained a wide range of audiences nationally and internationally, through her theatrical skills - singing and performing, and a unique and soulful blend derived from her Caribbean roots and love for American vocal artists. Her inspirational music ranges from gospel and contemporary Christian music, to love songs and patriotism.

Since her retirement from her final duty station in Fort Bliss, Texas, Maxine moved back to Fayetteville to join her husband of 21 years, where he continues to serve as an active duty Army officer. She remains active with the Army community serving as volunteer and trainer in family life and resilience, and events coordinator

She continues to mentor hundreds of individuals while gaining notoriety for her exceptional leadership style and her outstanding community service. Maxine founded the “Doctor Bird Scholarship Award”, with her husband, to recognize educational excellence at her primary school in her native town, Marlie Hill in Manchester, Jamaica. Maxine’s philanthropic and leadership excellence was also recognized by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, as "Military Person of the Year”. Maxine’s incredible level of community involvement while serving in Orlando, earned her the proclamation of July 14, 2016 as "Captain Maxine Reyes Day."

Passionate about mentorship and youth education, this role model has also paved the way for the women she has influenced and inspired over the years. We will have the honor of this woman of valor on the Mentoring Panel at the upcoming Women’s Empowerment Conference hosted by the Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Jungle Island in Miami.
