The Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF), Inc., is a Florida Not-For-Profit founded October, 2012 as an organization designed to provide an outlet for Jamaican women in Florida to empower themselves through networking, mentoring and personal development. The goal of JWOF is to engage Jamaican women in Florida and to give back to the next generation of young women by assisting in the development of leadership and personal skills to operate in a global environment. Partner with local Non Profits; assist young children; provide scholarships to Jamaican/American women in college; inspire personal development of women and mentor the next generation of powerful women in Jamaica and in Florida.
