Join JWOF on Saturday, November 14, 2020 between 12PM and 2:30PM Eastern for an afternoon of food, fun and partying as we host our annual RUN-A-BOAT Fundraiser virtually! This year’s event will be different but equally as good and with a twist!
You will have the option of joining us live online and or check out local food trucks and restaurants who have partnered with us to serve up some real Jamaican food!
Your donation of $5 will support the Melody House, girl’s home in Montego Bay. We are raising funds to provide each girl with a laptop and other much needed supplies.
Chef Andre Fowles, 3-time Food Network “Chopped” champion will be gracing our “virtual” stage as he does a live demonstration where he will show off his skills with selected Grace Foods ingredients!
In 2016, Andre started his hospitality company “Everything Food” based in New York City, where he offers private chef services, exclusive catering, culinary and restaurant consultations as well as Pop-Up events. Chef Fowles cooking style is about light, clean Caribbean flavors while incorporating global concepts. Currently the chef consultant at Miss Lily’s Skylark in Jamaica, Andre has cooked with some top celebrity chefs such as Marcus Samuelsson & Nina Compton for the RockHouse foundation.
Jamaican-born celebrity chef Alexcia Smith, will demonstrate her masterful skills live on the “virtual” stage where she will teach us how to make food magic with selected Grace Foods ingredients!
I addition to her growing success as a private chef to high profile clientele, Alexcia has successfully launched an amazing granola brand called in.grain.ed. She launched the brand in 2016 and it is steadily growing. It’s currently available in The Hamptons, NYC and online. Alexcia continues to expand her brand and is working to add beverages in the near future.
