Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) Opens Applications for 2025 Annual Scholarship
Florida, October 1 – The Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) is proud to announce that applications for its 2025 Annual Scholarship are now open. Valued at up to $5,000, this scholarship supports first- or second-generation JamaicanAmerican females graduating from a State of Florida high school who plan to attend a post-secondary institution.
Focused on the organization’s mission to inspire and empower emerging powerful women, the JWOF 4-year scholarship is designed to help cover tuition, books, or other college-related expenses. JWOF’s goal is to invest in the next generation of leaders by easing the financial burden of higher education.
Application Deadline: December 31, 2025
“We are committed to empowering young Jamaican-Americanwomen in Florida to pursue their educational dreams,” said Michelle Williamson, President of JWOF. “This scholarship reflects our dedication to creating opportunities for emerging leaders and encouraging excellence in academic achievement.”
